This is one of my favorite plays out of 12 personnel. It gives you deception, creates misdirection, and brings multiple blockers to the point of attack. It’s a simple, physical concept that puts the defense in conflict and gives your ball carrier a great chance to hit downhill with numbers. 12 Personnel features one running back and two tight-ends. Here’s a breakdown of my QB Buck out of 12 Personnel.
LTE: Gap-Down-Backer.
LT: Gap-Down-Backer.
LG: Pull, kick-out contain player.
C: Step play-side, base the N.
RG: Pull, wrap for PS linebacker.
RT: Step down- replace the RG.
RTE: Step down- replace the RT.
T: Fake hand off to the right- fantastic fake is needed!
QB: Catch Snap, fake to the T, follow the RG’s lead / wrap block. Right as the RG crosses face, jab and go!
S: Bubble Screen,
Z: Block the most dangerous defender to the bubble.
If you don’t have a mobile QB or don’t want to get your QB hit, you can also direct snap to a running back.

If the defense doesn’t match the two receivers you can have the QB catch the snap, throw the bubble to the S. If the bubble is thrown, nothing changes for anyone.
