The Single Back Formation Offense is great because it features a passing strength to one side and a strong run threat to the other side of the formation. The run strength features a tight-end (Y) and a H-back \/ wing back flank. The passing strength features two wide receivers. It’s very difficult for defenses to align properly against this formation.
